Tuition fees in Slovenia differs depending upon the choice of institution and study course. International students from non-EU countries need to pay tuition fees for their studies, except:
- You hold the scholarship accorded by the higher education ministry
- Between higher education institutions, one is student of an exchange programme
- Student holds the permanent residence of Slovenia and are taxpayers or even if their parents are tax payers
- You belong to one of the countries that Slovenia has bilateral agreements with

Master’s Degree cost:
- Tuition fees is around $2250 a year for social science course
- It costs around $3000 a year for technical, natural science and Arts programme
Doctoral Degree cost:

- Tuition fees is around $6000 a year for technical, natural science and Arts programme
Students are also entitled to get some discounts for numerous cultural events, concerts, sports and other activities; and to buy food coupons, students should hold a visiting student ID card.
